Spray Tanning

Nouvatan has been developed using totally organic active ingredients. So you get a fantastic golden tan without subjecting your skin to harmful UV rays. Your spray tan will last between 5-7 days and the colour guide (I spray you with) is very natural looking which allows you to go about your day without looking like you've just been in a mud bath! This then washes off after development to leave you beautifully tanned.

If you are booking in for a spray tan please read below and make sure you follow these guidelines.

The day before your spray tan:
Shower and exfoliate your body, including your face
Moisturise with an oil free moisturiser
Hair removal - shave/wax any areas required
The day of your spray tan:
Shower, avoiding heavy moisturising shower gels
Do not apply moisturiser, deodorant, oil based products or perfume
All make up is to be removed
Avoid shaving and waxing
The spray tan session:
Wear suitable swimwear or underwear to create desired result
If using swimwear ensure it is black as tan does not wash out of elastic/lace
I will apply barrier cream to your hands, feet and any other dry areas
Your spray tan will last around 15 minutes
You will be dry to dress straight after (in loose dark clothing and open shoes)
Straight after your spray tan (whilst tan is developing):
Do not touch skin to avoid tanned fingers
Avoid water on skin - especially rain!!!
Avoid swimming, heavy exercise or any perspiration
Avoid wearing socks or shoes
Avoid applying moisturiser or deodorant
Don't sit on light coloured leather or fabrics as your colour guide can cause discolouration
Shower between 6-8 hours after your spray tan. If going to bed before you get to wash off your colour guide it's advisable to wear long pj's so you don't touch your tan and get brown fingers!
Pat dry with towel. Do not rub
Don't shave until 12 hours after your spray tan
Remember - don't panic if you see colour in your shower or bath water! This is just the colour guide washing off to reveal your fabulous tan underneath!!
To maintain your spray tan:
Moisturise reguarly. Hydrated skin is essential in maintaining a longer life to your tan
Avoid long hot baths or shower as these speed up exfoliation
Pat your skin dry after a bath or shower
Avoid swimming pools or sea water
Take care (wear loose clothing) when exercising as sweating may cause your tan to fade unevenly
Ensure all tan is exfoliated off before next spray tan!
Possible Contra-Indications:
First trimester of pregnancy, eczema, cuts, psoriasis, abrasions, skin diseases and disorders
Acne can look darker after a tan and may aggravate serious acnaic conditions
